Contract

1. The SELLER will have dewclaws removed, and tails docked before placement of puppy.

2. The SELLER guarantees against fatal congenital malformation, hip dysplasia or fatal hereditary disease which occurs or is discovered AND which has resulted in death or crippling before the puppy reaches 12 months of age. (Pre-Lim) at the Purchaser’s expense, prior to twelve months of age for guarantee to be valid. If the puppy has such condition, the PURCHASER must surrender the puppy and the SELLER will refund the purchase price. The PURCHASER can not keep the puppy and also request a refund of the purchase price. The AKC papers must be returned to the SELLER when the puppy is returned. The PURCHASER must provide the SELLER with a veterinarian’s certificate, vet reports and lab test within 10 days of the determination of fatal congenital malformation or fatal hereditary disease which specifies the health problem. If the puppy dies or is crippled by distemper, hepatitis, or leptospirosis within 12 months of birth, the PURCHASER must prove that all shots were given on time and complete. Cost of veterinary services shall be the responsibility of the PURCHASER. A second opinion will be obtained and if it is found to be a congenital condition your purchase price will be refunded. Costs and related expenses of returning the puppy to SELLER shall be the obligation of the PURCHASER.

3. The SELLER guarantees the health of the Doberman at the time of sale. The PURCHASER is to have puppy examined by a vet to confirm its sound health within 72 hours. If a health problem is found a full refund will be provided upon return of the puppy. Costs and related expenses of returning the puppy to SELLER shall be the obligation of the PURCHASER. PURCHASER must give SELLER a veterinarian’s certificate setting forth the health problem within 5 days of the veterinarian’s exam. This does not apply to injury subsequent to PURCHASER taking possession of the puppy.

4. Registration papers will be furnished to PURCHASER upon receipt from the A.K.C. and when complete payment is made for the Doberman. The Buyer has the option of naming their new dog with the exception that all puppies carry the kennel name “Kye’s” at the front of their A.K.C. registered name. PURCHASER agrees to register this dog in accordance with the time limits specified by the A.K.C. and send a copy of that registration to Seller upon receipt. If PURCHASER fails to use “Kye’s” in front of the registered name or to register dog in accordance with this paragraph, all guarantees made by Seller in this contract will become void.

5. PURCHASER agrees that all responsibility for keeping this Doberman in good health and keeping all inoculations up to date, worming regularly and sexual alteration are his or her responsibility.
